Génération Maroc Technologie participated as the integrator for the electrical, instrumentation, automation, supervision, and remote monitoring aspects in the construction of the seawater pumping station that supplies the reservoir of the city of Safi with drinking water. GMT installed switchboards that were disengageable and tested to meet the client’s standards, JESA/OCP.
The seawater desalination station in Safi has been gradually put into operation. This project aims to ensure a sustainable supply of drinking water in the context of climate change, which is leading to an increasing decrease in conventional water resources.
The planned production will reach 15 million cubic meters per year in 2024 and 2025, and 30 million cubic meters per year in 2026.
